Regal Hearts Blog Tour: Interview with Lena

Hey! So Livy Jarmusch from www.crownofbeautymagazine.com asked me to be apart of the blog tour for her new kindle series Regal Hearts!! "Thanks Livy!"

So today Lena, one of the Regal Hearts characters, and I did a fun interview!! So without further ado let's get going!! I hope you all enjoy!!

Following the dramatic birth of her royal daughters, the Queen of Bella-Adar is murdered by the merciless sword of an evil usurper. The helpless princesses are placed in the care of the URIA, an undercover organization who safely extracts and protects the girls from a tragic fate. Sixteen years later, Lena Bodner encounters a stranger who uncovers secrets from her past...

Beth: Hello Lena, thanks for joining me!!Lena: Hi there! Thank you for having me!

Beth: Okay let's have a few fun questions! Is that alright with you?

Lena: Of course! This is actually my first interview, so I'm a little nervous, haha, but I always love trying new things!

Beth: Okay what was your favorite part of living on your farm with Grandmary and Theodore?

Lena: Oh, I have so many happy memories from growing up on the farm! I feel like just about the most blessed girl ever to have grown up in such a lovely environment. I love our adorable goat flock, and running around outdoors, playing in the creek in the summertime...just everything about it! I'm also homeschooled, so I have a lot of free time on my hands, which is great for walking around outside, climbing trees, exploring, and spending time with God.

Beth: So can you describe how you feel exactly, having been adopted, knowing that you came from royal decent?

Lena: Wow, I'm not really sure how to respond that that question...I mean, it's still sinking in. Discovering that my birth parents were rulers of a nation beloved by so many people, is humbling and overwhelming. When I first found out about my royal heritage, it was so hard to believe. I mean, I'm just a normal, sixteen-year-old girl from the European countryside! Like, what did I ever do to cause such a wild thing to happen in my life? After having some time to process, I came to this realization: that's the thing...I didn't have anything to do with it. God chose who my birth parents would be, and I've always trusted that He has a plan and a purpose for my life. So, if He has chosen and created me for this royal role...then I suppose like Esther I just have to say, "if I perish, I perish!" I'm learning that I have to let my old identity die, and truly embrace the real me. The royal me.

Beth: What are you most excited for in the future?

Lena: To be completely honest, my future is very unknown. It is frightening. I have to trust that everything is going to be okay, but the wicked man who murdered my parents and currently occupies the throne, is supposedly out to kill me as well. So that is unsettling. I don't know what my future holds, but I do know the One who holds it!

Beth: How do you plan to process all the different things that you will encounter?

Lena: The only way I can...with the Lord! I am sure that without my relationship with God, I would be a total mess! He is the only way that I am able to walk through this trial. I have also been blessed with a very kind, faithful friend, Peter, who also doubles as my next door neighbor. His friendship and support is so encouraging. He is one of my closest, dearest friends, and I know that somehow we'll get through this together.

Beth:Which would you rather do, if it's came down to it, go back home to your farm home or be the Queen of Bella Adar?

Lena: Oh yikes, that is such a challenging question! Of course I love my family, Grandmary and my little brother Theadore are my whole world. I would never want to leave them, and if it were up to me, I would probably prefer to stay on my cozy little farm forever! But sometimes God calls us far out of our comfort zones, and we must find a way to cross the bridge between who we are right now, and who we are meant to be. If it is my destiny to be Queen of Bella Adar, then I am willing to travel down that road and see what unfolds.

Beth: Finally, what gives you peace during these changing times of your life?

Lena: My relationship with God is my anchor. Grandmary taught me that prayer is far more effective than worrying! If we cast our cares on God, He promises to care for us. So, that is what I am trying to do right now. The Bible says that a mind fixed on Him, will be protected with His peace, so that is what I am striving for. I cannot say it is easy, but that is the goal!

Beth: Thanks So much for joining us, Lena!! We look forward to seeing what your future holds!

Lena: Thank you! It was lovely chatting with you, and I wish you all the best on your adventures as well! <3

Wow! How incredible! So, Lena is for real a princess from royal descent? Is she doing a fictitious interview, or is she a real life princess? I was wondering because I checked out the book and it said it was fiction. I'm just curious! This was a wonderful interview! :D
