I had a dream about human trafficking last night. I woke up resolved to do something. Ya'll, Jesus said to be Lights. Let's.

The characters in this story are purely fictional. Although, so many cases like these are happening in the world today.

Please, help us.

   Hi. I’m 8 years old. Like most little girls I don’t play with dolls or eat way too much sugar. I don’t cuddle on my daddy’s lap and my momma doesn’t do my hair.

Why? Because I’m a victim to human trafficking. 

I’m not like most girls my age, I don’t have that simple innocence about my age. I was exposed to things that normal eight year old girls haven't been.

I’m older beyond my years.

   Hi. I’m a 11 year old boy. I’m not like most boys my age, I don’t run and play all the time. I don’t have loads of energy and dream-well yeah, I do dream a lot about hunting and getting away from this. I’m so hurt and messed up. 

Why? Because I’m a victim to human trafficking.

   Hi. I’m a 14 year old girl. I didn’t start high school and I can’t look forward to all the new friends I’ll make. I didn't get my first phone a year ago and I don’t post cute pictures on Instagram. My life is a living hell. 

Why? Because I’m a victim to human trafficking.

   Hi. I’m a 18 year old girl. I did go to high school and the first two years were great. I did have friends, I had fun, I felt free. But the other two years weren’t so well. He stole my heart and lied to me. Now I don’t know if I’ll ever find a way out. I’m so dead inside. 

 Why? Because I’m a victim to human trafficking.

   Hi. I’m a 21 year old man. I didn’t have the pride swelling up inside me when I turned such an important age. I didn’t have my mom and dad telling me they were proud of me. I wanted to be happy but the life my mom had trapped me into when I was just a little boy made it impossible. 

Why? Because I’m a human trafficking victim.

   We need your help. Yes. You.

   You may wonder what you can do, you might be young and don’t have a lot of means.

 But you can do something.

 What?

   You can donate money to organizations and get involved with them. You can spread the word. How? So many people have talents. Raise awareness. Sing songs. Write books and articles. Use your voice. Use the social media you do have. Be aware yourself.

   And mostly importantly. Pray. For. Us. Pray for our peace and comfort. Pray for our deliverance. Pray that Jesus will wrap His loving, graceful arms around us. Pray that through this all we can learn to trust in a God that won’t let go. 

   We need your help? Will you give it?

   Millions are being trafficked every day, many times a day. Please. Let’s stand against this.

Hello friends!! I want to first say, Jesus is amazing! And know His grace reaches to the hurting. You may feel utterly alone but you're not for He is with you, And, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matt. 28:20.) You may feel like no one knows how you feel but Jesus does.I encourage you to get acquainted with the One who felt everything you are feeling on the cross but Who also nailed it to the Cross so you don't have to carry it anymore! And. That's. Amazing!

 K, so next I want to say a huge thank you for you that read  It's a Choice!! It means a lot and I'm so glad ya'll are enjoying the story!!! You're comments and enthusiasm means so much!!

And I'm also sorry I haven't posted a part in awhile! I've been working on a project and it's taken me away from that. It may be after the New Year until I get another part to ya'll, but I miss writing so much It may be sooner lol! We'll see what Jesus leads!

    Hey! Ya'll, let me just say, our Jesus is AMAZING!!!!! Hallelujah!!!!! Soooo..... Today I have something really exciting for ya'll!!! I get the honor (and I sorta told Chloe that I would be this way) of kicking off the The Light Blog Tour!!! 

   So we have exciting things planned for today!! Starting off with.... drum roll... A short CHARACTER INTERVIEW with The Light's main character... Lorraine Zimmerman!

  So without further ado... Let's talk to Lorraine!!!





























   This Redeemed Girl: Hey Lorraine, thanks so much for joining us. Do you go by Lori or just Lorraine?

   Lorraine: Hi, thank you for having me! Actually, almost everyone calls me Lori, but I'd rather be called Lorraine, really! (I think people have forgotten that my full name is Lorraine and not Lori! lol).

   This Redeemed Girl: Okay, cool. So do you mind telling us a little about yourself?

   Lorraine: Sure...my life has been full of so much. If you had seen me over eleven years ago, you probably wouldn't believe that I was the same girl. I had a terrible life growing up, abuse, rejection and no love in my house. But now...well, all that's changed. 

   This Redeemed Girl: Wow... So that would be so hard to cope with? How in the world did you do it?

   Lorraine: Yes, it is hard for people to cope with that kind of situation. I don't think I coped with it that well. I became bitter and blamed everyone else for what was wrong. In all honesty, the way I lived with it was...my heart held hate.

   This Redeemed Girl: So the back of the book states you saw a light and glimmer of hope? What do you think this, this light is?


   Lorraine: At first all I saw was a light...and I just knew that it was something that could make my life better. I honestly didn't know what it was when I saw it. I just knew that I wanted it.

   This Redeemed Girl: Oh... So like how did you see a light in someone's eyes?

   Lorraine: Well...haha, I just simply saw it! I just looked up and there was this light shining out. 

   This Redeemed Girl: Do you think you'll ever discover what this light is?

   Lorraine: I...waited for it for awhile, but...it wasn't offered to me. We'll just have to wait and see....

   This Redeemed Girl: Well, Lorraine, I certainly hope it all works out for you! 

   Lorraine: Thank you, so do I!
